Alliant International University Advocate:
First, Campus Community Development involves planning events for students, supplying them with discount prices for museums, parks, movies and attractions around San Diego. These are just some of the events that international students residing on campus take full advantage to experience the sites of San Diego and make memorable memories while pursuing a higher education.
Second, a definite sign of collaboration between student leaders to work together and advocate for student voice, is the combined forces of current Undergraduate Student Government Association (UGSGA) and Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA) to be one: Student Government Association.
Just last year, the USGA ensured that flags displaying our campus diversity are changed throughout to reflect about 80 nations represented in our student body! On the other hand, GSGA planned and executed two major projects that will have long standing effects for the university! First was installing a structural sign in front of the school- the first ever Alliant International University (AIU) sign that would greet anyone entering the gates to AIU. Second, GSGA spearheaded a project that mobilized the student body to elect a professor of their choice for the title: SGA Outstanding Faculty Award! *Voted by the student!
